inspiration & interior design ideas

If you’re wondering what kind of style this property might have, both myself and John love the dark academic / dark maximalist look. The images (below and right) are from our old house. We love antiques, gilt-edged pictures, gold and brass accents, bugs and green!

This property is huge, and we’ll definitely need to purchase A LOT of new pieces to fill the space; and some of that eclectic style will probably end up having lots of industrial and brutalist ‘edges’ to it; and maybe even some mid century pieces (John will protest that one).

One things for sure though – it’ll certainly have the WOW factor. We’re not afraid of a bit of drama! I guess thats what you get when I’m an ex-theatre designer and John’s a master cabinet maker!
